1. Programme Description
Cornerstone Action operates a recurring text message programme for supporters. Messages may include legislative alerts and vote notifications, event invitations, volunteer and canvassing requests, and reminders about upcoming elections.
2. How to Join
You can join by giving us your mobile number on any of our sign-up, petition, event registration or donation forms and ticking the separate SMS consent box, which reads: “I agree to receive recurring text messages from Cornerstone Action. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, petition signature or event registration. The consent box is never pre-ticked, and your consent is recorded with a timestamp and its source.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies with campaign, legislative and event activity.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Cornerstone Action does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
5. How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing further. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. You may instead email support@nhcivicrm.com.

7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to transmission limits and your mobile carrier’s capabilities.
8. Privacy
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
